Homosexuality

Bible Verses on Homosexuality:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

Leviticus 18:22 - “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.”

Leviticus 20:13 - “If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination.”

Romans 1:25-27 - “Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to degrading passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural, and in the same way also the men, giving up natural intercourse with women, were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in their own persons the due penalty for their error.”

So is homosexuality wrong? Yes. But just because someone is a homosexual does not mean that we cannot love him (or her) or pray for him (her). Homosexuality is a sin and like any other sin, it needs to be dealt with in the only way possible. It needs to be laid at the cross and repented of. We need to love the sinner, but not the sin.  It is clearly stated in the some of the passages I found (above) what God thinks about it.  I hope this helped for those needing or wanting to find answers to this question about homosexuality and whether it was approved or condemned.
